Founded in 1988, Potter Warehouse & Transfer Company was conceived as a regional Household Goods carrier serving the employee relocation needs of major employers located in the Midwest. 

Potter utilizes a Total Control Business model.  This means that all moves are handled exclusively with our own trucks and employees.  We do not use outside van lines, agents or contract service providers.  We handle every detail in-house.

We're a strong regional carrier - while we can provide nationwide service we are known for our outstanding service in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, Kentucky and Pennsylvania. We can also service the southern Ontario, Canada market.  By staying close to "home" your crew remains the same from start to finish.

Potter maintains complete control over every aspect of the move.  This means a higher consistency of quality customer service, as our clients retain the same crew from start to finish ensuring that each job is done to our client's expectations.

As demand for diverse service offerings has grown, Potter has also become heavily involved in Commercial Services.
